Each of our chaplains supports assigned agencies. This provides an opportunity for us to build relationships with law enforcement, corrections officers, fire, emergency medical services, dispatchers, and other service providers supporting our communities throughout Whitman County.

In some cases, those agencies are able to help provide specialized training and resources that equip our chaplains with necessary skills and experience. In many cases, our chaplains are volunteering both their time and their own financial resources for the effective ministry of their calling.

We rely upon the community we serve to help support the chaplaincy ministry. Monetary donations help fund events that celebrate law enforcement and first responders, meet the needs for encouragement and care of our chaplains, and support our administrative requirements.
